Introduction
Baseball is America's favorite sport and commonly referred to as the nations national pastime. It was invented by Abner Doubleday in Cooperstown, N.Y. in the late 1800's and has been a common sports topic for the media from books to film to music and radio.
Baseball has a rich history of players and stories of fame, fortune, heartbreak, despair, anticipation, and of victory and defeat. The statistics and records of each players performance has been cataloged in the Baseball Hall of Fame which is located in Cooperstown and is the official library and curator of Major League Baseball history and it's artifacts.
The museum provides a look and tribute to the sports history and it's progress in the beginning through the addition of the Negro Leagues, through modern day games, moments, and stories.

The job of a Web Designer is a demanding job as the technology involved and surrounded by it is ever changing and challenging in keeping up with constant innovations and change.
To become a Web Designer one must have the patience, creativity, and vision for not only creating a great website but the flexibility to know things will always change.
The education required is coursework in learning how the World Wide Web (W3C)
works, who invented it, how it interacts globally, and how important it will be to your customers in helping them send their message about their products and services. Learning to code a website requires knowledge of it's computer language, HTML, and a current developing tool such as software like Dreamweaver.

Private Investigator  The world of the Private Investigator (PI) has changed greatly due to the volumes of information that can be retreived via the Internet. To save time and expenses and to provide quick reliable service to your clients being a skilled researcher and master of search techniques and resources will take you far in this profession.
In this field a PI can be hired by the hour or by the assignment and will probably entail a mix of either research on the Internet, surveillance, document retreival, to expert witness in a court case.

ELECTRONIC RESOURCES:
Two Types:
1. Hands on or learning by doing it yourself
2. General Session were an instructor speaks to a large group
Advantage of hands on approach is “learn by doing” which helps in retention of what is required. A disadvantage would be a loss of skills without repetitive practice.
General Session instructs many at one time however no retention gauged so most of what was presented may be forgotten. If a handout was issued it may also be lost or misplaced.
TOURS:
Librarians know the material and well trained in providing it however the pace of the tour may limit or intimidate the patrons from interrupting the presentation with questions so they may not be answered and the content not fully understood due to a time restraint.
With a video tour a patron has the opportunity of replaying the content and knowing they can do this aids in the flow of the tour without interruption.
FORMAL COURSES:
Where the need has been identified “a course or series of lectures may be taught by the librarian or teacher as it relates to a class assignment or curriculum” (Katz). This coursework may be repeated to reinforce the need for proper instruction and the awareness of its use in proper reference research.
TUTORIALS:
Mainly used for instruction online with many academic institutions where “a specific kind of tutorial or (RIO) Research Instruction Online” (Univ. of Arizona) tutorial was developed as part of the library website providing instantaneous on demand instruction as a part of the libraries instructional policy. This allows students to be more independent in learning the required skills and tools. This tutorial may also reside on the institutions You Tube channel with other tutorials.
